Staff are all very friendly, bar/restaurant is always very well decorated for the season. The food is served very quickly and is really nice, the balcony seats have a beautiful view.

Found this place on Google restaurants and thought we'd give it a try. Outside looks just like a beachfront cafe with plenty of pay and display car parking outside. But when you get inside you can see it's a restaurant and I had sirloin steak and it was amazing the knife practically fell through it. Staff are friendly and helpful and quirky interior and right on the beach perfect.

This is our first visit, and definitely won't be our last. Great views from the outside terrace, and the food was brilliant. The cod was huge, but had to pay extra for peas which you would normally expect to automatically have with a fish and chip meal. I had the fish pie with chips and salad, which was packed with chunky fish, a great sauce and topped with mash, cheese and prawns. Both meals were pipping hot. Meals didn't take long to arrive and the waiter was very attentive. They have gone all out decorating the bar ready for Halloween, which looked fantastic.

Lovely pub right on the beach front with fantastic views. Have eaten here a few times now and been happy with both experiences. Food has always been of decent quality and price point, restaurant is clean and well presented with staff being friendly and professional. No table service, you place your order and pay at a separate food counter and is then brought over to you, both occasions this has been in good time even though they have been relatively busy. Also worth noting this is a dog friendly pub/restaurant. One thing though, get curry sauce on your menu, it's criminal not having that option with my fish & chips!

Really nice place, long rectangular bar, well decorated and carpeted throughout. Great conservatory type room with a great view of the sea. Also a small balcony in the open with views of the beach and sea. Great area when the weather's fine . Beer was good. Staff were friendly and polite. Food available. Steps down to the beach . Well worth a visit. I certainly enjoyed my visit.

We were 7 adults and 1 toddler. I had the best haddock and chips I've had in a long time, that includes places where the meals cost twice what I paid here. One of us didn't enjoy her chicken, but the other person who had the same dish loved it. Fair choice of beers and lagers. Nice view over the beach from the veranda, although there wasn't any shade for sunny days. I'd go back like a shot, thank you to the staff.
